Us and that Wild pear tree...

Not too long ago I blogged about this enchanting wild pear
tree that we found in an old orchard close to a picturesque old farmhouse…There must have been something in the air that day as little did we know that Dust and Dreams Photography would be moving soon...and we are so so
excited that not only will that tree now be in our very own backyard but we will also be
calling that darling house our home!
From 2016 we will be much closer to our clients and will be able to travel to surrounding areas easily.
We are so thrilled about this new adventure and to celebrate this very exciting change we are not only offering a 10% discount to any love struck couple who book one of our Wedding or Engagement packages between today and on or before the 14th of February 2016 but also a 10% discount to any Portrait session booked during the same period of time.
* This special discount only applies to new bookings made :)
** The actual photo session does not have to fall in between those dates. Bookings are however to be confirmed to qualify for this discount.

Brand New... {Album Design} bespoke service

Dust and Dreams Photography now also offer an {Album Design}
service. We will design a luxury album for you and have it printed and bound by
our favourite professional printers. Each design package will be quoted
according to the size of the album and will include the album design (no, we
will not charge you per hour like some others do…), proofs for you to check
once the page designs are done as well as the final printing and the actual
album.
Regardless of whether we took the photos of your special day
for you, give us a shout and we can create a special album for you to have all
those darling moments close at hand… and to make everyone else green with envy!
I can tell you that we feel a real childlike warm and
fuzziness when showing someone their brand new album… so we cannot wait to hear from you!

For 2014 we are planning a couple of styled shoots with the
first in April (more about the awesome couple who is joining us for this one
soon….)
We are looking for a whole day of emotion (and lots of fun)
where we can capture pure puppy love, raw dreams or even heartbroken moments of
longing and for this we are not looking for models but for a real couple
genuinely in love who are keen to have some fun and go home with some wonderful
memories and pictures to boot. We are looking for one {or a few J }
of you!
We will conceptualize the shoots (as they will be built
around you), scout locations, style wardrobe and props (we will bring lots of
goodies and so will you… your favourite pair of KILLER heels, your doggies… if the
location allows, a first love letter, that bottle of bubbles left over from
your wedding….) and we will give you a hand with hair and make up to create
something soft and romantic or maybe wild and edgy. We are looking for muses
who will help us tell a story. We are not looking for run of the mill pictures
but for something that will make someone pick your photo up time and again.
So we are looking for the brave, the daring and a couple who
can be our inspiration!
The dates and locations will depend on the couples we chose
and will be announced closer to the time.
If you are
interested in joining us for any of the styled shoots for 2014 drop us an
email, a FB comment or comment on our blog post. We will choose a few lucky couples
who will spend an amazing day with us!
Any ladies who are interested in joining the styled shoot by yourselves
please give us a shout too as Elaine has something very special in mind for

With the New Year rolling in our new website has launched and we cannot say thank you enough to our wonderful website designer & web host who literally spent hours balancing the fine act of giving us high quality images and still allowing for the site to load fast…. even in remote locations! Not to mention the endless patience she had with us changing pictures, adding new favourites and and and. THANK YOU Anè.
Our site includes all our prices and packages but please contact us should you have something special or different in mind.

July has turned out to be a month of announcements and lots of excitement for Dust & Dreams Photography!

The first prints available are:
Holy Waters - a wonderful shot taken late dawn one morning in Varanasi, India while people flocked down to the holy Ganges River. It does not only show the diversity of these holy waters but also the remarkable people of this city. Limited Edition of 10.
A Station called "Tuisbly" - pays homage to the highveld of South Africa with this little deserted train station literally in the middle of no-where called " Stay Home". Limited Edition of 15
